Channel Update: Here's an
unofficial listing of upcoming channel changes from NPS: USA
and SCFI have discontinued their analog
signals on C-Band. USA is now available on GB,
590 while SCFI will be made available on
X4, 642. On or about May 15 look for the following 15 services to
move from G9 and GB to G3
(actual channel assignments on G3 have not been released yet): A&E;
AMC; CNBC; CMT;
CRT; WPIX; HALL;
LIFE; MSNB; MTV;
WXIA; SLTH; TVLD;
VH1 and USA. Nickelodeon
and Spike TV will return to their analog locations
on C4, 3 and G0, 19 respectively. Showtime West
(G0, 15) leaving analog on June 1. Available on G0, 101.
TMC East (C3, 17) leaving analog on June 1.
Available on C3, 111. TMC West
(G0, 18) leaving analog on June 1. Available on G0, 111.
Flix (C4, 22) leaving analog on June 1.
Available on C3, 110. Discovery East
(C4, 21) leaving analog on June 1. DSCW
available on C4, 601. Cartoon Network
(G1, 8) leaving analog June 29. Other Turner Nets remaining analog
until further notice. Fox News (G1/G5, 21) will
be leaving analog on August 13, 2007. Cinemax East (G1,
19) leaving analog on August 31. Available on G1, 124.
NPS is waiting on a contract from the Golf
Channel to provide the network on X4, 410. NPS
is also working on providing ABC Family and Disney
if possible.
Recent satellite location changes: CMT
Pure Country on X4, 805 IFC on X4,
252 MTV2 on X4, 801 MTV Jams
on X4, 686 MTVS on C4, 685 Nick GAS
on X4, 606 NickToons on X4, 604 Noggin
on X4, 605 VH1 Espanol on C4, 801 WE
on X4, 256 ESPN and ESPN2 may eventually be
offered through NPS via IPTV. We have chosen to discontinue listing
ESPN and ESPN2 in OnSat for the time being but will add them back if
they are offered through 4DTV and IPTV in the future. TMC
East can be found on C3, 111. NFL Network
is available on GB, 410. The west feeds of Showtime Family
Zone, Showtime Next and Showtime
Women recently changed to a symbol rate not re-ceivable by
the DSR-920 4DTV receiver. Owners of 922 receivers and the 905
sidecars are still able to get the GO and C3 125-127 channels. OLN
is now called Versus (VS.). KWGN
and WPIX are now CW network
affiliates while KTVD is now an affiliate of
MyNetwork TV. FEMA/EENET weekly
broadcasts can now be found every Wednesday at 2 p.m. & 7 p.m.

4DTV Reminder: The new
IPG download channel for 4DTV is now Galaxy 1
(G1) transponder 3.
Units will now tune to G1 on the nightly update instead of G0. To
reset your receiver and download new channel map, simply go to G1, 3
and unplug the unit for 20 seconds. Receiver will go through warm-up
cycle and then download the latest channel map. Visit

HDTV Update: Nebraska
Educational TV offers a digital HD signal
on T5, 603 for those with 4DTV systems. HBO is
transmitting their HD signals on G9, digital 4DTV
channels 118 and 120. Starz and Encore
offer HD signals on Galaxy 9. Showtime is also
offering an HD signal on G0, 120. These signals require the use of a
HDD converter box. For more information on HDTV

MPEG-2 Update: World Harvest
(WHT) has switched from analog to an MPEG-2
signal. NASA has discontinued their analog feed
in favor of several MPEG-2 signals. To continue receiving the FTA
digital feeds, you will need to purchase an MPEG-2 receiver. MPEG-2
receivers are available for $199-$649 at various locations. For more

Upcoming Satellite Launches: Galaxy
14 (G5) has replaced Galaxy 12 at 125 degrees West. Galaxy
12 remains at 125 degrees West as an in-orbit spare. AMC
14 is scheduled for a launch in September, 2007 for service
at 105.5 degrees West with 32 KU transponders. Anik F3
is scheduled for a launch January 2007 for service at 118.7 degrees
West. Galaxy 16 has replaced G4R
at 99 degrees West and offer 24 KU and 24 C-BAND transponders. AMC
18 is scheduled for a launch on November 30th for service at
105 degrees West and will offer 24 C-BAND transponders. Galaxy
18 is scheduled for a launch in July 2007 for service at 123
degrees West and will offer 24 KU and 24 C-BAND transponders. For
